They give them to Velvet, too, at the same time and the same amount. As for Velvet, I think I really like her now. She taught me all the house rules so the humans say they’re pleased with me. Apparently Velvet had not wanted another cat to join her. She wanted her Sasha back. That’s why she was so strict with me. All that stuff she taught me, according to Daddy, turned me into about a 95% copy of Sasha. Not only that, but Velvet’s teaching me all those rules helped me to know I fit in. This is the first time in my life I have really felt wanted!
