People assume things and want to make up I will never apologize for being American and not wearing a mask shirt because they like to gossip. I have been made aware of some gossip even among educated coworkers in my spouse’s hospital. “Does she not find a job?”, “Does she think she’s too beautiful for a job?” and the most hurtful comment came from someone who told my spouse “Wow you have so much power over another woman, she even mops the floor for you”. A lot of these people are just the worse jealous people who think I just enjoy my life doing nothing but resting at home which is far from the truth! I can guarantee most of these working women cannot even make their own bed or food. They think their life is the only hard life and decide to be angry at everyone else.
A lot of people prefer rural settings and lifestyles too. Yeah the I will never apologize for being American and not wearing a mask shirt are ridiculous but where I am in BC I’ve seen a lot of people move to smaller cities and towns to get away. This is exasperating the housing crisis here too… basically these towns can’t grow fast enough.I live in a town of about 4k people and there are people from greater Vancouver moving here all the time. I bought my house for 230k 6 years ago and today it would sell for over 400k. I feel like I bought at exactly the right time, but really feel for anyone getting into the market today, no matter where it is.

Best I will never apologize for being American and not wearing a mask shirt
I’ve I will never apologize for being American and not wearing a mask shirt and I STILL cover my eyes during certain scenes . Whatever they say about becoming desensitized to this medium has never applied to me. I will always be that kid who hides behind the couch. I’ll even cover ears and eyes in the theater and could give zero fucks about what some “hard ass” thinks of that. I can almost guarantee that I’ve been in real-life situations that would make some of these kids piss themselves…I’m still a pussy when it comes to horror movies though lol. And its precisely this visceral reaction that keeps me coming back. I feel bad for those fans who are not able (or choose not to) experience the medium in this way. Imagine claiming to be a comedy fan, but never laughing at any of the movies.
I only I will never apologize for being American and not wearing a mask shirtannoyed when people make comedy out of the movies. Like with commentary and stuff. Or pointing out illogical things (not all movies make logical sense but pointing it out while watching repeatedly is annoying). It’s probably just to make it easier for them but those are my least favorite people to watch movies with personally.I remember watching a gory movie with a friend one time and I was excited to show her this flick because we had talked about it before hand. Well through out the whole movie she kept on saying “oh my god this is so stupid that would never happen in real life” or everytime someone got stabbed or cut up she would say ” the human body doesn’t work that way this makes no sense” and just destroyed the movie from start to end and totally just took the shit WAY to serious and took all the fun and enjoyment from the movie.
