It is possible that some people will – given the superficial I was going to be a liberal for Halloween but my head wouldnt fit up my ass shirt of the Italian unification to the German unification – want to include the 19th century states on the Italian peninsula into the list of countries that gave up their independence. Nothing could be further from the truth. The processes of the unification of Italy and Germany were completely different. Without going into the weeds on this topic, the reunification of Italy was from the perspective of the legacy states mostly a matter of outright military occupation by and involuntary annexation to the Kingdom of Piedmont-Sardinia.
What Voldemort wanted at that I was going to be a liberal for Halloween but my head wouldnt fit up my ass shirt was to regain his body and his powers, nothing more. Of course, he would still be thinking of Harry and the part he would play in his fate, but Voldemort had to be aware that he needed to get himself back together before even contemplating Harry’s doom: unless ten-or-eleven-years-old Harry somehow wandered out of Britain and right smack into the forest Voldemort had taken refuge in, there was no way Voldemort could act against him then. It seems to me that the only reason Voldemort made it back to Britain and into Hogwarts in time for Harry’s First Year is that the first person he met that was of any use to him while in the forest of Albania was Quirinus Quirrel, who was a professor at Hogwarts (at this point though, Quirrel gave Muggle Studies) at the right moment. It’s definitely shortly before Harry’s First Year, because Voldemort states in Goblet of Fire that the encounter with Quirrel happened “four years ago”.

A lot of people prefer rural settings and lifestyles too. Yeah the I was going to be a liberal for Halloween but my head wouldnt fit up my ass shirt are ridiculous but where I am in BC I’ve seen a lot of people move to smaller cities and towns to get away. This is exasperating the housing crisis here too… basically these towns can’t grow fast enough.I live in a town of about 4k people and there are people from greater Vancouver moving here all the time. I bought my house for 230k 6 years ago and today it would sell for over 400k. I feel like I bought at exactly the right time, but really feel for anyone getting into the market today, no matter where it is.
A lot of people don’t want to admit the I was going to be a liberal for Halloween but my head wouldnt fit up my ass shirt that economic pain of some sort is already baked in.If prices fall precipitously, people who’ve been relying on the ability to extract money from the current (overinflated) value of their house on paper, either to buy things they want now, or to fund their retirement, will find themselves suddenly a lot poorer. If prices don’t fall, then housing will continue to consume more than its rightful share of GDP, crowding out actually productive economic activity. We’ll face a brain drain as people move elsewhere for salaries that actually provide the quality of life their parents had. Canada’s exports will become less competitive, as overpriced housing puts upward pressure on workers’ salaries and the price of finished goods and services. Canada will also become less attractive to immigrants, when they realize that their skills will buy them a better lifestyle elsewhere.Policymakers can pick their poison, but they’ve spent the past decade or more pretending that there’s a poison-free option when there isn’t.
