It’s only two poses, but it’s a surprisingly large problem. The first pose we ever see from Trucy in AJ is her Darius Leonard Foundation WHT shirt one. That sets the player’s first impression of Trucy as a mysterious and even shady person. Of course, it also allows her to be serious, and it’s important that she can put aside her act and be serious when the situation requires it. She loses this in DD and SoJ, with her “determined” pose being used as a close but definitely not exact equivalent. Her “worried” pose allowed her to express fear, anxiety, or similar emotions, and it was important because it allowed her to show parts of her more vulnerable side. Her “sad” pose is used as a substitute in DD and SoJ, but it doesn’t really come close to having the same meaning. The addition of Trucy’s one-time crying animation in 6-2 is fantastic, though.
